@ShpleeMan It's also worth noting that the MacBook at the beginning could have killed the PC instead of throwing it. It's also worth noting that one Mac Pro would have been able to kill the PC by itself, considering how easily it shot down the PC. Lastly, it's worth noting that we're both analyzing this far too much.

Even if some ideas of windows vista, and the last release (windows 7) there are some copies at all. But apple knows microsoft is better. Microsoft is on top, with windows, adobe, macromedia, xbox 360, intel. All microsoft developments projects work perfect. Oh and BTW, just like a PC you can run Windows "out of the box" on a Mac. All you need to do is install it. The Mac comes with Bootcamp which I suppose you can say is "other software" but it is nothing more that a tool that makes the process of partitioning your drive and installing everything VERY easy. If you know what you are doing you can do it without just like on any other PC. It is the same thing! So even by your definition it IS 100% "native".

To answer your question. No I don't think that. On the contrary because your logic is completely backwards. A Mac is the ONLY machine out there that can run every OS 100% natively (again without hacking your machine). A PC cannot. The parts are no different and in MANY cases they are inferior. The advantage Apple has over MS and what allows them to make a more stable OS and reliable working environment is the fact that they configure the hardware and make the OS for that hardware. MS cant!

Well that is not the correct definition of "natively". For instance [using your example], a PC cannot run OSX natively. What that means is that you have to hack your machine and jump through some hoops in order to do so and if you CAN happen to get it to boor, it STILL is not reliable, stable or 100% compatible with the hardware and perifs. It is not "native" because it was not meant to run on that hardware as opposed to running Windows on a Mac which as native as any PC. cont.

Even if OSX cannot run .exe files natively (which I really don't want to because that is how many viruses are spread on PCs but anyhow) The Mac CAN run windows natively. Once booted into Windows (or running simultaneously through Parallels, etc.) you CAN run .exe files just fine. So, given all these facts, the Mac clearly CAN play games. In fact, just as many as a PC can which should really answer your question quite definitively. Any more questions?

macs can get viruses, and they are BY FAR the easiest to hack of all the computer brands stock software on a computer is supposed to matter? pc is bigger, stronger, faster, has tons more software. mac is simple, weak, with a nice design. mac screens are not necessarily better resolution, my pc has a 1920x1080 resolution, i doubt yours has any higher. besides, pc's are very costumisable, we don't have specific standard screens, and some of them are sure as hell undisputedly better

Better graphics? Don't make me kaugh, Uncharted 2 is on the next level compared to PC, Crysis 2 is on PS3, that shows the power it has. (the instructions for replacing the ram and hard disk are below the battery,,) and i'm running the latest release OS 10.6.2... which by the way costs $29... And i'm running it just fine... it runs like it's a new pc... Just so you know... I am a windows user... i can dual boot... between win7 and osx...

I used Windows for 11 years up to XP Pro. Utter junk. Poor memory management. Persistent crashing. System freezes. I have been using OSX concurrently and since I gave up Windows. 1. Obviously since Apple's market share is so small, I'd say people dont like the design enough to spend the extra money. 2. Moot point since antivirus is free. Even microsoft has a free AV and it works very well....but to answer your question, its quite secure. I've been running no AV since 2003. 3. I dont know of any sponsorships like what you speak of and windows is no harder to use. At least from my conversation to mac users who have both machines. They say its not much harder to learn

And the best thing is, once you have a mac, you can keep it for a long while and just keep updating it (speed won't drop), and it will still be good to use, while you will need to buy a new PC or parts at least once every 6 moths to keep up with the latest technology.

Same reason back at you, why would I run Mac when i can pay less, get better specs and run Windows, Linux, and Mac (hackintosh). Like I said they each have their +'s and -'s. For games, PC because u can custom build and for me PC makes more sense i save 900$ by going with a AMD cpu (profiling software).

Mac runs windows really well, in fact Macs run Vista better than any PC. I play Oblivion all the time. I think the question is why would I get a PC just for Windows when I can run all 3 on a Mac? At the end of the day, Mac takes the problems of running a Windows or Linux PC away because it does everything for you without any real thought on your part. Apple is contributing to the dumbing down of the general population, if you want to be able to fix a computer problem use Windows or Linux and discover the flexibility that can be had by actually using your brain. I am an editor and Avid runs better on Windows. Final Cut is a rip off of Avid and god DAMN IT I just F**king hate it so much!!!
