Video duration: 56 seconds After the eastbound passed yet another helper set followed behind it the 3345 & 3344. Right on that helper sets tail was the eastbound excursion which had to wait for short NS 13G led by 2 ES44DCs to clear the track by the station platform. Video duration: 94 seconds After waiting almost 40 minutes for any movement at all, this EB NS mixed frieght rolls past Alto tower. Video duration: 31 seconds After shooting 2 more trains at the curve we packed up and headed for Galitzin & Cresson (highlights were 1 WB mixed at the summit & 5 SD80MACs at Cresson). Then its off to Cassandra where after seeing 4 NS frieghts, the Pennsy excursion train passes through the curve and on to the Steel City of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Video duration: 246 seconds The other favorite clip of the whole trip. 25 minutes after 21E passes, another roar was heard in the distance as an SD70M & a SD70M-2 struggle upgrade with a very heav 21G. Im surprised this train didnt have any helpers on its tail. Here we see a meet with an EB ethinol train (which had 4 helpers which were the same 4 that were at Altoona earlier in the morning) and a WB double stack train with 2 C40-9Ws & an SD70. This is where NS crews are changed between Conway yard in Pittsburgh & Enola Yard in Harrisburg and where helpers are added to WBs that need them. Video duration: 200 seconds March 10, 2007: Me & my dad were heading down to Berea for another day of train watching when we intercepted a westbound NS intermodal train led by a C40-9W & a C40-9. An eastbound mixed frieght was also going by at this time (power was unidentified). I accidently left the radio on during the filming. This was shot at CP192 which is 2 miles northeast of CP 194. Video duration: 43 seconds After shooting the BNSF drag we headed south to try to catch up with the Conrail dash 8s. By the time we caught this northbound NS drag we knew it would be impossible to catch up to it. We never found out why this train was stopped (my assumption to this day is the crew was dead on law) This video was also taken in 2007.
